Lucite International produces a wide range of methacrylate products, including monomers and polymer. Lucite International is the world leader in methyl methacrylate (MMA) and holds more than a quarter of the global market-share in this sector. It has a strong track record in product development and innovation, and is the only acrylics business in the world to have production facilities in all three major economic regions – the America, Europe and Asia.

Lucite International is a leader in the supply of MMA and the major specialty methacrylates to the paints, coatings, inks and at adhesives market. Lucite International holds major positions in the kitchen, bath and spa market and in bead resin. It also has a strong market position in acrylics sheet and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).

The superior properties of acrylic products have led to their widespread use and today they are an essential part of modern life. The basic building block is methyl methacrylate (MMA) monomer and a wide range of higher alkyl and functional methacrylates are also available. Methacrylates are used to manufacture acrylic polymers, resins, composites and sheet. The products find use in a diverse range of applications.
